Un ATS (Applicant Tracking System) es el software que las empresas usan para recibir y ordenar candidaturas. Los más habituales son Workday, Greenhouse y Lever. Antes de que un recruiter abra tu CV, el sistema ya lo ha leído, lo ha convertido en texto y lo ha clasificado.
An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is the software companies use to receive and sort applications. The most common ones are Workday, Greenhouse and Lever. Before a recruiter opens your CV, the system has already read it, turned it into text and ranked it.
Ahí es donde se pierden muchas candidaturas buenas. No por falta de experiencia, sino porque el CV está escrito para que lo lea una persona y no para sobrevivir a ese paso intermedio.
That's where a lot of good applications get lost. Not for lack of experience, but because the CV is written for a human to read and not to survive that intermediate step.

Si tu CV encabeza con tu cargo actual en vez de con el puesto que buscas, el sistema te clasifica en el sitio del que vienes, no en el que quieres ir.
If your CV leads with your current job title instead of the role you want, the system files you where you came from, not where you're going.
Responsabilidades en vez de logros
Responsibilities instead of achievements
«Responsable de la gestión del equipo» no dice nada. «Lideré un equipo de cinco personas y reduje la rotación un 20 %» sí. Verbo, qué hiciste, y el número cuando exista.
"Responsible for team management" says nothing. "Led a team of five and cut turnover by 20%" does. A verb, what you did, and the number when there is one.

Columnas, tablas, iconos, el nombre metido en una imagen del encabezado. Se ve bien en pantalla y llega al otro lado convertido en un revoltijo.
Columns, tables, icons, your name inside a header image. It looks good on screen and arrives at the other end as a jumble.
